Eight questions about sending us a task in China: what to write, how fast the quote arrives, what comes back, and what we do not do.
1. How do I send you a task?
Fill in the quote form with three things: what needs to happen, the city or area it is in, and any deadline. Three lines is enough to start.
If you have a company name, an address or a contact on the ground, add it. That shortens the quote. You do not need a Chinese phone number, and submitting the form does not commit you to anything.
2. How fast will I get a quote?
Within one business day, by WhatsApp or email.
The quote is written and fixed: it states the scope and the price, so you can compare it with anything else you are considering. If a task falls outside what we do, we say so instead of quoting it.
3. How much does a task cost?
Remote requests start at $129. On-site days are $239.
Fixed packages, including verification and report work, are listed on the full rate card. No hidden fees.
4. Do you work outside the big cities?
We work across mainland China. Our team is based in Xiamen, and there are city pages for Beijing, Shanghai and Chongqing.
If the task is somewhere else, name the city in the brief. We confirm the location before we quote, because travel time changes the price of an on-site day.
5. What do I get at the end?
A written report. Remote reports carry screenshots of the pages we checked, and on-site reports carry photographs taken during the visit.
Anything we could not confirm is listed with the reason: records unavailable, access refused, information contradicted. The standard we hold ourselves to is written down on the report standards page.
6. Can I ask for changes after delivery?
Yes. One free revision round is included with every task. Tell us what is missing or unclear and we rework that section without extra charge.
New research on top of the delivered scope is quoted separately, so the free round stays free.
7. Do I need Alipay, WeChat or a Chinese phone number?
No. You do not need a Chinese phone number to work with us; WhatsApp and email both work.
If you are travelling as well and want to set up Alipay or WeChat Pay for yourself, our China apps guide covers the setup step by step. You do not need it to place a task with us.
8. What don't you do?
We keep a short list on the What We Don't Do page. If a task falls outside it, we say so instead of quoting it.
